Solix Inc., a leading provider of U.S.-based government and commercial process outsourcing solutions that administers more than $4 billion on behalf of its clients, recently announced that the company's move to its new headquarters in Parsippany won the United Way of Morris County's "Commercial Real Estate Impact Award."

The award was presented at United Way Morris' 11th annual annual Commercial Real Estate Network Legacy Luncheon to Ivy Equities, the owner of the property who completely redeveloped the building to meet Solix' needs.

The award was presented in recognition of "property development project that has had the most positive impact in Morris County in 2009."

'It's very gratifying to know that Solix' commitment to remaining in Morris County was recognized as an important and beneficial development for the area," said Solix President and CEO John Parry. "As a company with offices and clients throughout the nation, we're happy to be contributing to the economic well-being of the county and here at home in New Jersey."

Formerly based in Whippany, Solix moved to its new headquarters at 30 Lanidex Plaza West in Parsippany last fall. Solix occupies the entire three-story building, which was designed from the ground up to meet the company's requirements for a location that is green-friendly.

Solix employs nearly 400 people in New Jersey.

The awards come during a period of significant progress and accolades for Solix. Earlier in the year, Solix announced the acquisition of Consolidated Market Response (CMR), a call-center operation that has been renamed Solix CMR, LLC and employs about 350 people.

The company was recently ranked as one of the Top Ten "Best Places to Work in New Jersey" by the publication NJBIZ and will receive a business expansion award by the Morris County Economic Development Corporation in June.
