Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Nafash joined Ivy Equities (“Ivy”) in 1997 and established its operating and financial internal control procedures. He is also the Chief Financial Officer for both Ivy Realty and Ivy Capital Partners, where he is responsible for the financial reporting and accounting functions of all Ivy investment entities including its real estate and two healthcare funds. In addition, Mr. Nafash plays an integral part in the acquisition, disposition and financing of investments in the Ivy portfolio. Mr. Nafash is the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer of First Ivy Capital Markets, where he is responsible for the private placement of investors in new investment vehicles on behalf of Ivy, as well as overseeing the relevant accounting and NASD compliance and reporting requirements for the broker-dealer.From 1992 through 1996, Mr. Nafash was the Controller of Professional Sports Care Management, Inc. ("PSCM"). His achievements at PSCM included developing all aspects of a financial department, designing extensive management reports, completion of an initial public offering (IPO) prospectus and all other SEC reporting requirements, and implementing an effective system of internal accounting controls. Mr. Nafash was also an integral part of the acquisition and start-up of over thirty entities where his responsibilities included development and execution of due diligence protocol and the successful integration of financial and operational transition issues.
