 Mr. Dow is Chief Operating Officer of Ivy Realty and is responsible for the day to day operations of the company.
Prior to joining Ivy in 2007, Mr. Dow was a Managing Director and Head of Asset Management at Barrow Street Capital, an independent real estate investment manager that invests in opportunistic real estate strategies in North America. While at Barrow Street Capital, Mr. Dow led the asset management function for three real estate funds that that were invested in a diverse mix of asset types including office, retail, data centers, entitled land, condominium development, private residence club and manufactured housing.
From 1996 to 2004, Mr. Dow was in the Dallas office of Westbrook Partners, LLC, a sponsor of a series of opportunistic real estate funds, where he was most recently a Director. While at Westbrook, Mr. Dow was responsible for the asset management of various real estate investments which had a gross asset value in excess of $1.0 billion. The assets were located in major U.S. markets as well as Paris and London. In his role at Westbrook, he financed and disposed of property with a market value in excess of $1.5 billion.
Mr. Dow’s previous experience also includes the J.E. Robert Companies in its Goldman Sachs’ Whitehall Venture and Lehman Brothers in New York.
Mr. Dow received a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Cornell University and is a member of the Urban Land Institute. |
